we are glad that you are here. Despite they say that you learn by your mistakes, we hope that - at last in this respect - you have not gained one more experience with us.

But now to your entry:

Bad service is no reason for a remark in this book. Complaints of this kind have to be discussed with violent arguments. (Note of the author: there are more suitable things to throw around or to hit somebody than this "book"!);
On the other hand, positive remarks are not strictly demanded - but leave less irritations behind;

Sehr geehrter Herr Seiß,

lassen Sie mich auf diesem Wege Dank und Anerkennung aussprechen für Ihren
Einsatz und die Arbeit, die Sie für den Verein leisten.
Dies gilt natürlich auch für Ihre Frau und alle Mitglieder des Vorstandes und der
Arbeitsgruppen.

Ich glaube, ich kann ansatzweise beurteilen, wie viel Arbeit von den "aktiven" des

Guten Morgen, Herr Seiss,

die meisten Glückwünsche müssen Sie aber bekommen: die
Mitgliederversammlung verlief ausserordentlich friedlich,
ergebnisreich und kooperativ. Da der Chef in der Regel nicht gelobt
wird, möchte ich das hiermit einmal ganz vernehmlich tun!

Ich bin sicher, daß wir jetzt den Vorstand bekommen haben, den der
Verein für seine weitere Entwicklung braucht: kompetente und
interessierte Leute mit Tatendrang.
